Sadly Arteta has left Everton. 10 million Pounds for a 29 year old player, whom we bought for 2 million Pounds is a good deal, commercially. However the impact of his departure to the team, remains to be seen. Thank you Arteta for the memories. You are, to many of us, a Legend of Everton. We will always respect you.

Yakubu left to Blackburn. Commercially we suffered a massive lost. We bought him for 11.5 million pounds, and to sell him for 1.5 million pounds is unfortunate. However he served Everton well at his prime. His goals will be remembered. His achilles injury slowed him down, and I suspect he and Moyes had a massive fall out to have caused Moyes to, so determinedly, want to sell him.

Beckford has moved to Leicester. To earn 4 million Pounds for a player we got for free is amazing. With respect to Beckford, he was an average player. He missed and muffed so many chances last season, that despite scoring 10 goals, he was still not seen as the real deal. He would have been a great striker to have on the bench, but earning that kind of fees for him is great business for the Club.

Will always remember THAT solo-run goal he scored against Chelsea

Everton would have earned more than 15 million pounds for the 3 sales; and the salaries of these players that we save can be re-invested in the club.
