Season 2011/2012 kickoff

The season has officially started but for Everton, we only start this Saturday. 

Amazingly, we have not added in any striker into our rooster. Last season, that was our achilles. We just could not score despite being in control in most matches. We lost many points due to our failure to convert our chances. 

Without new strikers, we can only reply on who we got. In fairness, we have some pretty good striker. Saha, when fit, is awesome. Beckford is an average striker. Anichebe is powerful but poor finisher. And we STILL have Yakubu, whom we offered to sell but no takers. 

Since Yakubu is still with us, best to get the best out of him and partner Saha upfront. .

How would we do this season? Perhaps avoiding relegation would be our primary target, and if we can pick up a few good wins early season on, then we may try to push for Europa spot.

We can only hope and continue to offer our support.
