RIP Gary Ablett

Just in November, this Toffee Blog recorded our respect for the late Gary Speed. Today, we see the departure of any Gary, Mr Gary Ablett. 

He has the rare distinction of playing for both Everton and Liverpool; and winning trophies with both teams. He was part of the 1995 'dogs of war' squad of Joy Royle who, against the odd, won the FA Cup that year, overcoming Man Utd. 

He will be remembered as a tidy defender and one who got the job done effectively and efficiently.
