Clash of the Merseyside Titans

The FA Cup had brought Everton and our red neighbors together. This will be a match, both sides want to win, not just to qualify for the next round, but also for bragging rights in the City. Interestingly, we have a derby in the Premier League just a few days before that FA Cup game. Another one of those back-to-back games in 2 different competition involving the same teams.

Of course, the Everton supporters are optimistic we will win the 2 games. But playing the red boys is always tough. The fans are sufficiently pragmatic to know that. 

The last time Everton beat them was the 3-0 win a few years ago. I'll take a 1-0 win anytime.
